From the supplier: The attorney general’s office of Connecticut discovered that four charities falsely accounted for their transfer payments to avail of public funds from a combined government employee campaign. The Independent Charities of America, which ran the campaign, reported that United Citizens Against Drugs and the National Children’s Cancer Society received campaign payments. Watson and Hughey charity and Cancer Fund of America failed to secure funds due to late reports.
